The year is 2315. Damaskopolis is a city on the verge of a nervous breakdown. An intelligence agency called Palestine Branch maintains order with an iron fist, while vicious Shabiha gangs rule the slums. In the middle of this ordered chaos is Yossi Ormonde, a washed-up Israeli-Syrian detective with a head full of bad memories. What starts off as a routine investigation quickly spirals out of control as he finds himself fighting for his life and for the city he calls home.
Damaskopolis is a sci-fi thriller that blends noir detective fiction with speculative futures, set against a Middle Eastern backdrop rarely explored in the genre.
